Sciatic Pain ๐?
Letโs talk about Sciatic Pain
For purposes of universal understanding, I am defining Sciatic Pain in the glute region, extending into the backside of the leg and down to the outside of your foot.
1. Spinal Radiculopathy: the Sciatic nerve is getting somewhere in the spinal level, likely from a bulged or herniated disc
2. Sciatic nerve tension: The actual Sciatic nerve is too tight, possibly from lack of stretching, or years of compression.
3. Muscle tension of the Piriformis: this muscle crosses directly across the Sciatic nerve and in some cases penetrates the nerve itself
